Here’s a meme version of my tip: https://i.imgur.com/g907qvE.jpg
My greatest tool for controlling my body mass index is hunger management, and realizing that occasional hunger is a normal healthy feeling. Hunger doesn’t mean that you are poor or have chosen the wrong diet, it just means your body is trying to tell you something useful. Often times we need to just listen and make an informed decision on if we have met our nutrition goals for the day or we can ignore the hunger. My friend and I have learned to associate hunger with sucess for the day, that we have eaten the correct amount of macros and are at the correct hunger level at the correct time of day. The weigh-ins always back it up with hard numbers, with no loss of strength and muscle mass. I like the instant gratification of daily digital weigh-in.
If you are curious of my results, I started 4 years ago at 185 pounds [35M] and the minimal amount of muscle mass an IT guy can get by with. Today I’m 40 pounds down in fat and 10 pounds up in muscle, healthier and stronger than I ever was when I was young.
